Reflection: Moving Forward

Dear Friends,

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been reflecting on different parts of the Easter story.

Noticing where Jesus might be present.

Learning to receive peace in the middle of uncertainty.

Being honest about what we don’t fully understand.

What comes next? The story doesn’t stop there.

There’s a point where the disciples move from reflecting on what happened… to living differently because of it.

And I think that’s the part that can feel unclear.

It’s one thing to notice.

To reflect.

To understand something in a new way.

It’s another thing to actually move forward with it.

To let it shape how we live.

How we respond.

How we show up in our everyday lives.

🕊 Faith Moves Outward

After the resurrection, Jesus doesn’t just leave the disciples with an understanding.

He sends them.

Not with everything figured out.

Not with complete clarity.

But with a purpose.

That part matters.

Because it reminds us that faith isn’t meant to stay internal.

It changes how we live.

Not all at once.

But in small, consistent ways.

In the conversations we have.

The way we respond to challenges.

The way we show up for others.

Transformation isn’t just something we think about.

It’s something we begin to live.

📖 Scripture for Reflection

“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
~John 20:21

 💭 Reflection Questions

• What is something I’ve been reflecting on… but not yet acting on?

• Where might I be invited to take a small step forward?

• What would it look like to live out what I’ve been learning?

💡 Living it Out: One Step Forward

This week, choose one small step.

Not something big or overwhelming.

Just one.

A conversation you’ve been avoiding.

A decision you’ve been putting off.

A way of showing up differently in a situation you’re in.

Something that reflects what you’ve been learning.

Faith doesn’t require a complete plan.

It often just begins with one step.

🙏 Prayer for the Week

Lord,

Thank You for what You’ve been showing me.
Give me the courage to move forward, even in small ways.
Help me not just to understand, but to live out what You are teaching me.

Amen.

🌟 Closing Encouragement

Growth doesn’t happen all at once.

It happens as we take what we’ve been given… and begin to live it.

This week, take one step forward.

With Trust & Intention,
Tara
